Bowl Week Events
Rodeo Bowl
Held at the George Ranch Historical Park, one of Houston's premiere landmarks, the Texas Bowl teams will get a true Texas treat as they participate in a sampling of rodeo-inspired activities.

Coaches Luncheon
Morton's Steakhouse will host the second annual Coaches Luncheon featuring the head coaches from both teams and emceed by a local television or radio personality.

TexFest
What makes Texas so special? It's the people, the traditions and the unique attitude of what it means to be from Texas. Held outside of Reliant Stadium, TexFest features Texas-sized fun and entertainment for every fan.
TexFest includes live music, football-themed interactives and the Texas Bowl Tailgating Competition between participating schools. Fans can visit their own team Spirit Zones, complete with cheerleaders, bands, mascots and face painting.

Tailgating is a huge Reliant Stadium Tradition — come early before the game and tailgate in true Texas style.

From start to finish, the inaugural Texas Bowl was an event to remember. Don't miss out in 2007 as we continue the newest Texas college football traditions!
Fireworks Extravaganza
The post-game fireworks extravaganza will be the largest fireworks show in the state of Texas. It is free to the public and will be an exciting end to the fun-filled Texas Bowl week.
