Bud Light Red Dirt Lounge

Eli Young Band and Reckless Kelly will be performing special pre and post game concerts in a new private club area of Reliant Stadium for the Texas Bowl.

Both bands will perform in a new area of the stadium known for the Texas Bowl as the Bud Light Red Dirt Lounge. This is a private club level on the 700 level of the stadiium.

The $30 ticket price includes a game ticket, both bands and a full buffet.

While this is a private area you can get tickets for this area (limited to 750 fans) by calling 832-667-2390.

Eli Young Band

Eli Young BandWith likely the fastest growing fanbase of all emerging acts in the Southeast and Southwest, the Eli Young Band has been turning heads with its high-energy performances and a string of sold out shows. In the last year, the Eli Young Band, comprised of Mike Eli, James Young, Jon Jones and Chris Thompson has hit its stride, selling as many as 2,000 tickets a night in multiple markets.

After the release of their 2005 debut Level, on Carnival Records, the band quickly earned comparisons to the Jayhawks and Counting Crows. With high praise from tough music critics and national exposure on CMT and GAC, the Eli Young Band began to build a following well outside of their touring base. Without the benefit of major radio airplay, in 2006 the Eli Young Band was able to draw hundreds of fans each night in brand new markets, making a huge impression on promoters across the country from Albuquerque to Chicago.

In high demand, the band released Live at the Jolly Fox late in 2006, giving their fans a way to take a piece of the live show home with them.

Reckless Kelly

Reckless KellyWhen Reckless Kelly released its 2006 triple-disc CD/DVD package with the title, Reckless Kelly Was Here, the question almost begged to be asked: Where hasn’t Reckless Kelly been?

In 11 years together, the Austin, Texas-based Americana band has figuratively left its mark everywhere from college bars to dancehalls to festival stages throughout the South and West, and now the quintet is carving a swath across the rest of the lower 48 — and then some.

Reckless Kelly’s bid for expanded recognition even includes national anthem gigs like the one it did October 21 in Reliant Stadium for the Houston Texans-Tennessee Titans game, and the band just debuted its new tribute to our national pastime, “April to October,” at a park outside of Austin that houses the area’s minor-league team.
